Vy Nguyen, MSN, FNP-C
Vy joined the PsyClinic team in 2019 after graduating with a Master’s in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University. She is proficient in assessing patient history, diagnostic interpretations, and caring for chronic and acute mental illness patients. She has a diverse background and experience with adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations, and she has extensive work and training history in previous hospitals and clinics such as Memorial Herman. Vy is committed to her patient’s care and believes that educating them about the disorder and explaining the treatment plan is a key element in their recovery.
Vy is an appointed Clinical Specialist on Staff at the University of Texas Medical Branch, training and teaching medical students through their Psychiatry rotations at our Uptown location. Her love of Psychiatry is evident in her everyday practice, enabling her to connect with her clients on a personal level and provide compassionate and understanding care to a wide range of age groups and a diverse array of mental health disorders.
