McKenzie Belton is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, working under the supervision of Ashley Gonzales (License No. 76802). McKenzie is passionate about supporting individuals in managing depression, anxiety, and trauma through a compassionate, client-centered approach. She utilizes evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness to help clients build emotional resilience, promote healing, and achieve overall wellness.
McKenzie has experience working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system. She takes an integrated approach to therapy, understanding that each individual is unique and requires a tailored treatment plan. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston Clear Lake. Inspired by her own personal journey and the support she received from mental health professionals, McKenzie is deeply committed to helping others navigate their own healing processes.
