Jennifer Holman is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor who has been working in the field of counseling for the past seven years striving to make positive impacts on the lives of others. Jennifer is a proud Alumni of Texas Tech University. She graduated in 3 years with honors and received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a Minor in Addiction Studies. Her Master’s in Education focused on Community Counseling was completed at the University of Houston- Victoria.
Jennifer has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds through her work in crisis counseling. This has left her well-rounded in serving populations with various diagnoses with different levels of severity. Jennifer frequently uses Cognitive Behavior techniques and solution-focused approaches to help those struggling with depression and anxiety. Because of her diagnosis of ADHD, Jennifer has introduced to counseling at a young age. She recognizes the importance of making therapy fun for children and uses creative ways to keep them engaged.
Jennifer specializes in working with Co-Occurring substance use disorders and families affected by addiction. When Jennifer is not in the office, she is likely spending time on the sand volleyball court or with her many animals. Jennifer has enjoyed giving back to the community over the years by volunteering with her therapy dogs, assisting with equine therapy, fostering neonatal kittens, and wetlands conservation efforts through Ducks Unlimited.
